Saltaire Arts Trail 2018
27th March 2018
The Saltaire Arts Trail is an annual event and in 2018 will take place on 5th, 6th and 7th May. Saltaire village is centred around the 19th century woollen mill, Salt's Mill and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site

Saltaire Arts Trail is a community arts event and presents a lively and imaginative visual arts programme, celebrating Saltaire's rich heritage and offering opportunities to both emerging and established artists.

At its heart, every year, are the the famous Open Houses - a village wide gallery set in the Grade II listed homes of todays residents.

Robert's work has again been selected for exhibition and he will be returning in 2018 with 'All aboard the Airedale Line'.
The exhibit is a representative selection of a proposed kin-aesthetic photographic installation. Each image is presented in a creative double-glazed framing and encapsulated with a laser-cut vignette representative of a railway carriage window.

Accompanying the framed exhibit is a photobook, ‘All aboard the Airedale Line’. The book contains all 20 of the original images photo-realistically framed by the carriage window and is an opportunity of experiencing the journey, simply by turning the pages.
